Tia's tip
This recipe also works well with Mackerel.
What do we do?
-
Empty the tuna into the small bowl.
-
Use the fork to break up the tuna into very small pieces.
-
Add the cream cheese and stir it into the tuna to form a paste.
-
Take the zest off the lemon using the small section of a grater or a zester. You want to rub each section three times. Be careful you only want the zest not the white bits.
-
Cut the dill in a cup using scissors until it is finely chopped.
-
Add the zest and some of the lemon juice, be careful of the pips.
-
Add the pepper and dill, stir everything together.
-
Taste the pate and decide if you need more juice or pepper.
Eat and enjoy!
